Education:
Warwickshire College, England: Animal Science. I originally wanted to work in the veterinary field, but after college an opportunity arose in administration & accounting and I found that I loved the organization and balance of Accounting, so I switched and pursued this as a career choice.
Professional Experience/Other Jobs:
The majority of my career has been in accounting and I have been fortunate to work in a variety of roles within the field, giving me a well-rounded understanding of all functions. However, after many years volunteering at my children’s elementary school I did take a year and work as a Para helping tutor K-3rd grade which was so much fun!
Why are you at Henriott?
An opportunity arose and I jumped at the chance! I love how Henriott strives to help people, whether that’s their customers or by volunteering within the community.
Which superpower do you wish you had?
I wish I could teleport to anywhere in the world, I love to travel and visit new places, but hate the time it takes to get there!
Favorite TV/Movie:
Oh so many to choose, I love anything that makes me laugh! The only thing I won’t watch are Horror movies… I HATE being scared! 🙈
Favorite childhood meal:
British Fish & Chips!! Can’t beat it!
Best vacation:
I’ve been so lucky to travel to some wonderful places, but top of the list would have to be when we went to the Greek Islands a few years ago.
Volunteering:
I volunteered at my children’s school in the library, classroom, and on the PTO board. I’m looking forward to new volunteering opportunities!
